Copernicus Science Centre to launch this fall
Unusual water installations, a flying machine by Leonardo da Vinci's design, the projection of the night sky stars, laboratories in which visitors can conduct experiments – it is just a small part of the list of attractions the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw will propose its visitors. Student Festival of Science in Silesia
On April 26 starts the Student Festival of Science at the University of Silesia, which will continue until April 29. Look out for the spring with bird lovers
On April 01 starts the 5th edition of the European birdwatching survey - Spring Alive!, during which bird lovers in 35 countries register this year’s first sightings of swallow, swift, cuckoo and stork in the European database. In Poland, the survey is organised by Polish Society for the Protection of Birds (OTOP). On Sunday April 11 the events connected with the arrival of the first storks to Poland will be held in zoos in Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, Chorzów and Toruń.

Pingers in Puck bay will protect porpoises
A chain of electronic warning devices - pingers - that have been put in to the waters of the Puck bay, are to scare away porpoises and prevent them from getting tangled up in fishing nets. The project was presented at the VII Baltic Science Festival organized in the Tri-City.
